Calendly browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge simplify scheduling and help you save time.

Features available with Calendly extension

Getting started with the extension

Install the extension by navigating to the Integrations & apps page and select the Extensions and apps section.

After it's installed, it will appear on pages where it can be used as a floating button.

To remove this floating button, click the X button next to it. This will still keep the extension pinned in the top of your browser's extension menu.

Enable Calendly's Gmail, Google calendar, LinkedIn and Gong integrations to get the most out of your browser extensions. These can be toggled on and off by going to the extension's Settings screen.

Share your scheduling links

Book meeting
Using the extension's Book meeting feature, you can easily schedule a meeting on behalf of your invitee. Once you pick a date and time, your invitee will receive a confirmation email, and the meeting will be on both of your respective calendars. Add times to email
Using the extension's Add times to email feature, share a visual of your available times in an email. This can be useful when you want to select certain days or times for an invitee to choose from.

Copy link
Using the extension's Copy link feature, you can easily provide you a link to your event booking page.

Copy single-use link
Using the extension's Copy single-use link feature, you can provide a single-use link if you only want this event to be booked once by your invitee. The single-use link will expire once the event has been booked.

Create a one-off meeting, new event type, or meeting poll

Create a one-off meeting
  1. Open the Calendly extension form your browser toolbar.

  2. Select Create at the top of the extension page and then select One-off meeting.

  3. Once you select a One-off meeting, a pop-up screen will appear and you can customize your meeting from there.

  4. You can also create a new One-off meeting directly from your email composition page.

Create a new event type 
  1. Open the Calendly extension from your browser toolbar.

  2. Select Create at the top of the extension page and then select Event type.

  3. A new browser tab will open automatically and take you to your Calendly account to set up a new event type.

Create a meeting poll
  1. Open the Calendly extension from your browser toolbar.

  2. Select Create at the top of the extension page and then select Meeting Poll.

  3. A new browser tab will open automatically and take you to your Calendly account to set up a new Meeting Poll. Check out this guide on Meeting Polls for more information.

Organize your event types

To easily find your favorite event types, favorite them on the extension for quick access.

  1. Select the three dots menu next to an event type you want to favorite.
  2. Select the star icon. The star will turn yellow to show it is favorited.
  3. Find all of your favorited event types listed at the top of your extension under Favorites. They will be divided between individual and shared event types.

You can remove an event type from your Favorites list by selecting the three dot menu again, then Remove from Favorites.

View past and upcoming meetings

  • For past meetings, you can select the three dots menu to Mark no-show or Schedule a follow-up with invitees.

  • For upcoming meetings, you can select the three dots menu to Cancel or Reschedule with invitees.

Edit event types from the extension

To quickly edit your event types, open the Calendly browser extension and locate the event you want to edit. Then, select the gear icon at the top right, on that event type, select "Edit event type" and a new tab will automatically open to that event type's settings in your Calendly account.

Add internal notes to event types

Internal notes can only be seen by you and your meeting host. These helpful when you need to:

  • clarify which event types are preferred for different meetings

  • remind yourself which event types accept payments

  • remind yourself which event types have extended hours of availability

Add an internal note from the Calendly browser extension by typing your message in the Add an internal note box.

This note will appear on the corresponding Event type in your Calendly account.

Open the scheduling page for an event type

To access the live scheduling page for your event types from the extension, select the new window icon next to the event type name.

Customize once and share

By selecting the the dots at the top right of your event type, in the dropdown menu, you can select the option to "customize once and share." Upon selecting this option, a pop-up window will open to reveal the settings.
