The Outlook plug-in, sometimes called the Calendly plug-in for Outlook or the Outlook desktop plug-in, is a tool designed to connect Calendly to your desktop Outlook calendar if you are unable to use the Office 365/Outlook.com connection.
For example, you can:
- Set Calendly to add new scheduled meetings directly to your Outlook desktop calendar.
- Have Calendly check your Outlook desktop calendar for conflicts.
Before you begin
- The Outlook plug-in is for Windows only and is not available for Mac. Calendly's Outlook desktop plug-in works with:
- Outlook 2007 or later
- Windows XP or newer
- Calendly's Outlook plug-in is not compatible with Outlook versions downloaded from the Microsoft/Windows store. Downloaded Outlook from your O365 account in order to use the Outlook plug-in.
Note
If you can login and view your calendar here, we recommend connecting using our Office 365/Outlook.com connection.
Outlook plug-in vs. Outlook add-in
The Outlook plug-in connects your Outlook calendar to Calendly to check for conflicts and add events. It is separate from the Outlook add-in, which allows you to share your scheduling links and availability from your Outlook toolbar.
