The event type editor is your tool for creating and updating Event Types. Use it to customize your meeting details, set availability, and manage automated notifications.
For example, you can:
- Create an Event Type
- Update settings and availability for any existing Event Type
- Manage automated notifications for each Event Type
Before you begin
Only owners, admins, and group admins can edit Event Types for other users. Others can edit if they've been given event type permissions. Learn more in the Event type permissions overview.
To create an Event Type, you’ll first need to set a few basics:
- Event name
- Duration
- Location
- Availability
- Host(s)
After that, you can access more settings by selecting More options at the bottom of the editor.
Best practices
- To make an event secret or change the language, select the
three dots on an event type card from the Scheduling page.
- To preview your booking page, open the Event Type editor and select Preview at the bottom.
