Multi-person scheduling options for your organization

Calendly offers several ways for teams to schedule with others. This article explains each multi-person event type and when to use them. You'll also learn how team pages and shared event types work, and how to decide which is best for your needs.

Multi-person event types

Round Robin

Available on Teams and Enterprise plans

Round Robin lets invitees schedule with any available team member. You can distribute meetings evenly across your team or prioritize certain members first. This event type works well when you want to balance workloads or connect invitees to the next available person quickly.

Collective

Available on Standard, Teams and Enterprise plans

Collective scheduling shows only the times when all selected hosts are available. Once an invitee books a time, everyone is added to the calendar invite. This is ideal when someone needs to meet with more than one team member at the same time.

Group

Available on Standard, Teams and Enterprise plans

Group event types let multiple invitees book the same time slot. You can set an attendee limit and assign one team member to lead the session. This format works well for webinars, info sessions, and workshops where several invitees attend at once.

Share event types and pages with a team

Create a team to manage events together and standardize scheduling. When you’re part of a team, you'll share a team landing page where invitees can view and book events.

Work with anyone by using shared event types

Shared event types make it easy to collaborate across your organization, even if you're not on the same team page. You can quickly create multi-person event types without involving an admin.

Compare shared and team event types

Here’s a side-by-side comparison of shared vs. team event types:
