How to set up a team Collective event type

Collective Event Types let invitees schedule with multiple team members at once. Invitees can only book when all selected hosts are available.

For example, you can set up:

  • A sales call with an account executive and an SDR
  • A support call with a customer rep and an engineer
  • An interview with a recruiter and hiring manager

Before you begin

Create a team Collective event

  1. Go to your team page.
  2. Select the Three dots menu icon three dots in the top-right corner.
  3. Choose + New Team event type > Collective.
  4. Enter an Event name and set the Duration
  5. Under the Hosts section, all team members are automatically assigned to this meeting.
    • To remove a host, select the X next to their name.
    • If someone is missing, add them to the team page. Then return here and select + Add co-host to add them to this meeting.
  6. Set the Location for this event type.
    • You can offer one location or let invitees choose from multiple options.
    • If using video conferencing, assign one host to be the meeting organizer.
  7. Set the Availability settings for this event type.
    • Set the date range options.
    • Choose to set the schedule for each host or apply the same hours to all hosts.
  8. Select Create.
