Calendly natively integrates with Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, GoTo Meeting, and Webex.
If you use a different video conferencing platform, like Join.me or BlueJeans, you have two options:
- Add your conferencing details as a custom location, or
- Generate your conferencing details after your invitee books
Add your conferencing details as a custom location
You can add your conferencing details—like a personal meeting link, meeting ID, or room—to your event type as a custom location. Before adding your details, make sure your conferencing platform supports a permanent URL or dial-in number that you can use for all your meetings (most platforms refer to this as a personal link or room). That way, the conferencing details in your event type will not expire.
- Select your event type.
- Expand What event is this?
- Under Location, select Custom.
- Paste your personal conferencing link or . You can choose to display your link as invitees book or after they've booked with you. Select Update.
- Select Save & Close.
Your link will automatically appear in the calendar invite every time a meeting is scheduled.
Generate your conferencing details after your invitee books
If your platform doesn't have personal conferencing options, you'll need to generate a new conferencing session for each scheduled event. To set expectations with your invitee, you can add a note as a custom location.
- Select your event type.
- Expand What event is this?
- Under Location, select Custom.
- Enter something like, "I'll follow up with dial-in or video conferencing details." Select Update.
- Select Save & Close.
- Once an invitee books a time, generate a new session from your conferencing platform, then update the calendar event with details.
Note: If your conferencing platform is on Zapier, you can create a zap to automatically generate a new conferencing session with each booking. Learn more about Zapier.
