Availability overview

Your availability in Calendly is a mix of your schedules, holidays, and busy times from connected calendars. You can manage everything from your Availability page.

For example, you can:

  • Create and apply multiple schedules: Build different schedules for different types of availability. Assign them to the Event Types that need them.
  • Observe holidays: Select holidays to automatically block time on all scheduling links.
  • Manage connected calendars: Choose which calendars Calendly checks for conflicts and where new events are added.

Before you begin

Set your time zone and location in your Account settings under the Profile section.

What's new?

Streamlined Availability page: You’ll now find all availability settings—including schedules, holidays, and calendars—in one place.

Best practices for users

  • Apply schedules by Event Type: On the Availability page, use the Active on dropdown to assign schedules to your Event Types.
  • Observe holidays: Toggle on the holidays you want to observe. Calendly will block off those days automatically.
  • Manage calendar connections: Choose which calendars Calendly should check when looking for conflicts and where to save new meetings.

Best practices for owners and admins

  • Connect team calendars: Every team member should connect their own calendars.
  • Check calendar connections: View calendar status for each user on the Users page in the Admin Center or from their individual profiles.
  • Set Event Type permissions: Let others edit availability for specific Event Types—even if they’re not the host. Learn more about event type permissions.
