The activity log

As a Calendly owner or administrator, it is important to keep track of what is occurring within your account, especially as your organization size increases. To help sift through activity, you can use your activity log. This log will keep track of some of the most important multi-user actions taken on your account.

Note

This feature is only available to Calendly enterprise customers.

How to access the activity log

  1. Log in to your Calendly account.
  2. Select the Account button at the top right, then click Admin Management.
  3. On the next screen, click on Activity log.

The resulting table will display account activity!

Note: Data in the activity log will be deleted every 90 days.

Using the search bar in the activity log will search across all columns and details for all events. For example, if you search for an email address, you will get results from the “by whom” column and if that user exists anywhere in the event details. If you want to search on an exact string, such as with spaces, you can wrap your query in quotes (e.g. "30 minute meeting").

Exporting data from the activity log

Data from the activity log can also be exported as a .CSV file, with a maximum of 10,000 events. If your export will contain less than 1,000 events, you will be prompted to download the .CSV file from within Calendly.

If the file is greater than 1,000 events, then you will receive an email with a link to the exported .CSV file. The email will come from Calendly, and the link will expire within 24 hours.

In order to receive Calendly logs remotely for ingestion into a SIEM or Logging service, the API can be used. This action can only be taken by a Calendly administrator. More information on the Calendly API can be found in our developer portal.

What is included in the activity log

The log will display four pieces of information per activity:

  • Category: what type of action was edited

  • Activity: what action was taken

  • By whom: the user that did the action

  • Date and time: when the action occurred

Each action will also have a Details button that will display more information about the activity. This information will vary from action to action.
