How to delete your account

Options to cancel or downgrade your subscription

If you're thinking about canceling your Calendly subscription, you have three options:

1. Switch to a different plan: Choose a new subscription plan (for example, from Teams to Standard).
   • You’ll keep your current plan’s features until the billing cycle ends.
   • This action can be reversed anytime.
2. Cancel your paid plan: At the end of your billing cycle, you’ll move to Calendly’s Free plan.
   • You won’t be billed again, but you can still schedule meetings.
   • This action can be reversed anytime.
3. Delete your account: This will permanently remove your account and all associated data.
   • You won’t be billed again, but this action cannot be undone.

Delete your Calendly account 

Deleting your account removes all your information and access. Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. If you may return in the future, consider downgrading to the Free plan instead.

Steps to delete your account

1. In Calendly, go to Account > Account Settings.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the Profile page.

3. Select Delete Account.

4. Choose one of these options:

   • Transfer ownership and delete my account: If you're an owner, you’ll assign another user as the team owner before deleting your account.

   • Keep my account and leave organization: If you're in an organization, you'll keep your account, but leave the team.

   • Delete my account and disband the organization: If you're an owner, you'll delete your account and close the organization.

5. Check your email for a verification code. Enter it when prompted.

6. (Optional for owners) If you chose to transfer ownership or leave the organization, pick the new owner.

7. Choose a reason for deleting your account from the drop-down menu.

8. Select Delete to finish.
