Learn how to clone an existing event type in the Calendly mobile app to quickly reuse your scheduling settings and preferences.
If you’ve already set up an event type and want to reuse its settings, you can easily clone it in the Calendly mobile app. This helps you save time by copying your preferences without starting from scratch.
Clone an event type on mobile
Follow these steps to create a clone of an existing event type:
- From the mobile home screen, tap the event you want to update.
- Tap Edit meeting type.
- In the top right corner, tap the
three dots menu.
- Tap Clone event type.
- Calendly creates a copy titled: [Original Title] (clone).
- Tap the title to rename or update the event as needed.
Note: Editing the title will not update the event type's scheduling link. Learn how to update your event type's scheduling link.
