Before you begin
- Owners, admins, and users can set up basic notifications for their event types.
- Legacy Essentials plan users can only use default email notifications.
Enable or disable basic notifications
- From the Scheduling page, select the event type you want to update.
- At the bottom of the editor, select More options.
- Open the Notifications and workflows section.
- Find the notification you want to update, then select the
three dots next to it.
- Toggle the notification On or Off.
- Select Save changes.
Personalize email and text notifications
If you're on the Standard plan or higher, you can customize:
- The subject line of a basic email notification
- The body of a basic email or text message
- The dynamic variables used in a message
To edit a notification message:
- From the Scheduling page, select the event type you want to update.
- At the bottom of the editor, select More options.
- Open the Notifications and workflows section.
- Find the notification you want to change and select the
three dots > Edit.
- Update the message subject or body as needed.
To add a dynamic variable:
- From the Scheduling page, select the event type you want to update.
- At the bottom of the editor, select More options.
- Open the Notifications and workflows section.
- Find the notification you want to change and select the
three dots > Edit.
- Select + Variables.
- Choose the variables you want to include.
- Select Save and close.
