How to upgrade your subscription from the mobile app

You can upgrade to a single seat Standard plan in the Calendly iOS app if you're a solo user on the Free Plan or Trial. This unlocks paid features directly from your iPhone or iPad.

Calendly can't make changes to subscriptions bought through the Apple App Store. This means we can’t:

  • Update your payment method
  • Change your plan
  • Cancel your subscription

To manage these, switch to a Calendly-managed subscription.

Before you begin

  • You must be a solo user on the Free or Trial plan.
  • Only the Standard plan is available in the app.
  • To choose a different plan or to add teammates, cancel your Apple subscription and upgrade at calendly.com.
  • Note: In-app upgrades are not available for users in Canada.

Upgrade in the app

  1. Open the Calendly app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap the Account icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Tap Account, then select Account Type.
  4. Choose the Standard Plan.
  5. Tap Subscribe, then complete Apple’s in-app purchase steps.

Cancel your subscription in the app

  1. Open the Calendly app.
  2. Tap the Account icon, then go to Account.
  3. Tap Account Type.
  4. From here, manage your subscription through Apple.

Your subscription will stay active until the end of the billing period.

Want to switch to a Calendly-managed plan?

To upgrade to a different plan or add users:

  1. Cancel your Apple-managed subscription.
  2. Visit calendly.com to upgrade.

How to cancel an Apple-managed subscription

You can:

  • Cancel your subscription by following the steps listed above
  • Or by going to Settings on your device, then select your Apple ID > Subscriptions > Calendly.

Once you've cancelled, you'll be downgraded to the free plan at the end of your subscription term. You may temporarily lose access to some features and event types.
