How to integrate Calendly with Salesforce

In this article, we'll go over how to get started with our Salesforce integration. From installing the package, what to expect from the package, customizing your package, and scheduling meetings from Salesforce, you’ll find it all here.

Before you begin

What the package does

Calendly’s Salesforce integration can automatically create and update Salesforce records as invitees schedule meetings, send and store Calendly routing form responses in Salesforce, and send Calendly profile and managed event links to Salesforce mapped to the correct Salesforce user.  This allows you to enable merge fields for sharing the right person's Calendly link in automations/email templates.

As Calendly meetings are created or canceled, you can:

  • Create and update any Salesforce object
    • By default, the integration works with leads and events, but this is customizable
  • View upcoming Calendly events from your record’s open activities
  • Track canceled and rescheduled events for individual invitees
  • Report on activity sourced by Calendly

Calendly's Salesforce integration is designed to give you transparency and control. For more details on default behavior, view Default behavior of the Salesforce package.
