How to create a Round Robin team event

Use round robin event types to increase your team's flexibility by allowing invitees to choose a time with any available member of your team. These event types are perfect for:

  • Connecting leads with sales reps for intro calls and demos
  • Connecting new customers with the client services team for onboarding and training
  • Connecting existing customers with a member of the support team
  • Connecting candidates with recruiters for phone screenings

Before you begin

  • Before creating a this event type, you’ll need to set up your team page. For instructions, see this article.
  • If you don’t need a team page, consider using shared Round Robin events. To learn more, review this article.

How to create a Round Robin team event type

  1. From your Team Page, select + New Event Type.
  2. Select Round Robin.
  3. Enter an Event name and select the Duration.
  4. Under Hosts, choose the team members to include. If you don’t see someone’s name, add them to the team page before continuing.

    • By expanding the Preferences dropdown, set your preferred Distribution method

    • At the bottom of the Host section, set your Reschedule preferences

  5. Set the Location settings for this event type.

    • Choose to set location by host or to set the same location for all hosts.
  6. Set the Availability settings for this event type.
    • Set your date range options for when this event type can be scheduled.
    • Choose to set hours by host or to set the same hours for all hosts.
  7. Select Create.
