This article provides instructions on how to set up routing with Salesforce (SFDC) lookup.
When connecting forms to event types within Calendly, you have two options:
- Calendly’s Native Routing Logic: Utilize fixed answer responses for streamlined routing. For more information on Calendly’s native routing logic, check out Getting started with Routing Forms.
-
Add Salesforce Lookup to Calendly Routing Logic: Enhance your routing choices by leveraging the wealth of data in Salesforce.
-
Salesforce Objects:
- Account: Match visitors to their account owner in Salesforce, and consider conditions like a specific “account type” for refined routing.
- Contact: Match visitors to their contact owner in Salesforce.
- Lead: Match visitors to their lead owner in Salesforce.
- Opportunity: Match visitors to their opportunity owner in Salesforce, and further use fields, such as the “stage”, for precise routing.
- Filtering/Routing Criteria: Tap into both standard and custom fields in Salesforce as conditions for routing, like the “stage” on an opportunity record or the “account type” on an Account record.
- Destinations: Using Salesforce data, steer leads or contacts towards different Event Types, Custom Messages, or External URLs. This allows for connecting to specific teams based on Salesforce data or screening individuals by guiding them to a custom message.

Salesforce Objects:
You can use Salesforce lookup logic in combination with Calendly forms or 3rd party routing forms such as Marketo, HubSpot, or Pardot.
