Calendly MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets you securely connect Calendly to tools like ChatGPT or Claude. Once connected, your AI tools can securely access your scheduling information and help you manage your schedule directly within the conversation.
What you can do with Calendly MCP
After connecting Calendly to your AI tools, you can take actions such as:
- Find open time or view busy slots
- Book or cancel meetings
- Create single-use links
- Update availability settings
- Create or manage event types
Subscription requirements
You do not need a paid Calendly plan to connect to the MCP. However, availability of some actions may vary depending on your Calendly plan.
For supported AI tools, you need a paid plan that allows custom connectors. Plans and features depend on the AI provider.
- ChatGPT: Plus (with access to Developer mode), Team, Enterprise
- Claude: Pro, Max, Team, Enterprise
Free plans for ChatGPT and Claude do not support custom MCP connectors.
Some ChatGPT Plus accounts may not support custom connectors. To check, go to Settings > Apps > Advanced settings in ChatGPT and look for Developer mode.
If you see Developer mode, you can continue with the setup steps below. If you don’t see it, your plan may not support custom connectors, or it may be disabled by your workspace admin.
