How Calendly uses your calendar data

Beta

This functionality is currently in beta for select users.

When you connect your calendar to Calendly, we use limited scheduling data to personalize your setup. This helps you get started faster with tips, integrations, and features that match your workflow.

What this means

Calendly may use your calendar to:

  • Suggest teammates you meet with often, so you can invite them to your team.
  • Recommend integrations or setup steps that match how you already work.
  • Highlight tips and features based on how you use your calendar.

We only use basic scheduling info—like who you meet with and how often—to personalize your experience.

How to turn off calendar-based personalization

You can disable this at any time by disconnecting your calendar:

  1. Go to Account Settings > Calendar Connections.
  2. Locate your connected calendar.
  3. Select the X to Disconnect.

Once disconnected, Calendly stops using your calendar data to customize onboarding. You can reconnect at any time.

Note

Disconnecting your calendar also turns off availability syncing. This may lead to double-bookings, and your availability won't reflect real-time updates until you reconnect your calendar.

Your privacy and security

Calendly uses limited calendar data only to enhance your experience. Any suggestions based on your calendar are visible only to you.
