What is mutual availability?
If you're logged in to your Calendly account, and you visit another Calendly user's booking page, you'll see your calendar on the right-hand side. Only you can see your calendar and upcoming meetings.
With this view, you’ll also see green dots next to times that you and your host are both available to meet.
Since you can see your upcoming meetings, you can decide their priority. If you'd like, you can schedule over an existing meeting to prioritize the new meeting, but you'll need to separately reschedule the existing meeting.
Time format settings
Your calendar will display in a 12-hour (am/pm) or 24-hour format, depending on your selected time format in your Account Settings. For more details, view To change how your own availability is displayed.
If your host has selected a different time format than you, you can adjust how their times are displayed to you by toggling the Time Zone setting on their booking page:
To log in to Calendly to schedule with your host
- If you're not already logged in, go to your Calendly home page, and select Log In.
- Visit the link your host sent you.
- Now that you're logged in, your availability should automatically display when you select a date.
- If they've shared their landing page with multiple event types, select the event you want to schedule, then select a date.
To book a time when you're both free
- On your host's booking page, select a date.
- Your host's available times will display on the left, and you'll see your upcoming meetings on the right.
- You'll see green dots when you're both free.
- To see the calendars Calendly is using for your availability, select the information icon next to your name.
- You'll see a list of calendars that are connected to your Calendly account:

- Select the time you want to meet, then select Confirm.
- Review your contact information and enter any required information (e.g. phone number).
- Select Schedule event.
Calendly notifies your host of the time you selected and adds the event to your calendar.
To change how your own availability is displayed
This is an internal display setting and will not affect the way times are displayed to your invitees.
