Note
If you are on our Teams plan and would like to add single sign-on (SSO) features to your Calendly account, you can do so from your billing page. The SSO add-on costs $3 per user, per month.
This article explains how to update your login preferences, including updating your email or switching between Google, Microsoft, or Calendly login methods.
Supported login methods
There are a few ways you can log in to Calendly:
- Your existing credentials with Google, Microsoft 365, or Outlook.com
- A Calendly username and password
- (Optional) Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for added security
- SAML single sign-on (SSO), such as Okta
If you'd like to enable SAML SSO, reach out to your company's IT admin. For more details, explore our SAML SSO features.
How to change your login email
To change your email, but keep your current login method (e.g., continuing to log in using Google or a Calendly username), follow the steps below.
- Navigate to your Account Settings menu, then select Login preferences.
-
Select Change email. You’ll be redirected to your account provider.
- Choose the new email address you want to use, then select Save.
- Check your new email for a confirmation link and select it to confirm the change.
Note
If your organization uses SAML SSO and you want to change your email, please contact your IT admin to update it within your identity provider.
How to switch your login method
You can easily switch your login method from your account settings page. To change from one method (e.g., Google, Microsoft, or a Calendly-specific password) to another, follow these steps:
- Navigate to your Account Settings menu, then select Login preferences.
- Depending on your desired change, follow one of these options:
- To use a Calendly-specific password, select Unlink.
-
To switch from one SSO provider to another (e.g., Google to Microsoft or vice versa), select Switch to Google/Microsoft.
- For this option, a six-digit code will be sent to your email. Enter this code when prompted to confirm access to the SSO provider.
- A confirmation window will appear. Select Continue to finalize the change.
- If you're switching between SSO providers, select the account you'd like to use and enter its credentials.
Once complete, your login method will be successfully updated.
After you've changed your login details
Changing your login details won't affect the calendars you’ve already connected to Calendly. If you need to change your calendar, visit your Calendar Connections page to make changes.
Note
If you've recently switched email platforms and are unable to access your account, contact the Calendly support team for further assistance.
