When you sign up for Calendly with an Exchange email address, Calendly tries to automatically connect your Exchange calendar. If it's unable to connect, see If Calendly can't connect to your Exchange server for instructions. After we connect with your first calendar, you can additional calendars at any time.
We automatically check each calendar you connect with Calendly for times when you're available. When someone schedules a time to meet with you, we add information about that event to the calendar you choose.
Note: if you mark a block of time (event) on your Exchange calendar as "Working Elsewhere", it appears as:
- "busy" in the Outlook application
- "not busy" for Outlook on the Web, and
- "not busy" on your Calendly scheduling page

How to connect an Exchange calendar to Calendly after initial setup
- At the top right side of any Calendly page, select Accounts, then Calendar Connections.
- Next to Exchange Calendar, click Connect.
- Enter your Exchange email address and password.
Calendly will try to automatically detect your Exchange Server.
If you need your server information, ask your IT department or check your Outlook settings:- iPhone: In Settings, select Accounts, then Exchange.
- Mac: Select Preferences, then Accounts.
- Windows: Select File, then Account settings.
- Click Connect.
See the confirmation message appear at the top of the screen.
How to specify which calendar Calendly checks for conflicts
- At the top right side of any Calendly page, select Accounts, then Calendar Connections.
- In the Check for conflicts section, click Edit, and select one or more calendars.
- Click Update.
How to change the calendar Calendly adds events to
- At the top right side of any Calendly page, select Accounts, then Calendar Connections.
- In the Add to calendar section, click Edit.
- Select the calendar you want to want to add scheduled events to.
- To have Calendly change or delete events that are changed from that calendar, check the box below Sync cancellations.
- Click Update.
If Calendly can't connect to your Exchange server
If Calendly can't automatically connect to your Exchange server, enter your Exchange server:
- name
- domain
- username
If you need your Exchange server information, ask your IT department or check your Outlook settings:
- iPhone: In Settings, select Accounts, then Exchange.
- Mac: Select Preferences, then Accounts.
- Windows: Select File, then Account settings.
