If you sign in to Calendly with an email and password, this article will walk you through ways to keep your account secure. These steps can help prevent someone else from accessing your account without permission.
Use Google or Microsoft login
The safest way to log in is with your Google or Microsoft account. You won't need a separate Calendly password. This method uses the security tools in your Google or Microsoft account.
If you're currently using a Calendly password, you can switch to Google or Microsoft login at any time.
Create a strong password
If you continue using a Calendly password, make sure it’s strong and unique. A good password makes it harder for someone else to access your account.
Do use:
- At least 8 characters (up to 72 are supported)
- A mix of:
- Uppercase and lowercase letters
- Numbers
- Special characters (like !, @, #, $)
Don't use:
- Your Calendly username or email
- Old passwords or ones used on other sites
- Simple patterns like "123456" or "qwerty"
- Common words or phrases
- Names of people, pets, or companies
- Personal info such as your birthday or address
Turn on two-factor authentication (2FA)
Add an extra layer of protection by turning on 2FA. After you enter your password, you’ll enter a code from your authenticator app to finish logging in.
