Calendly scans all links for potential threats and warns users of harmful links, ensuring a safe and trusted scheduling experience.
How it works
When a user clicks a link saved in Calendly, we check it against a database of harmful sites like phishing or malware. If a threat is found, Calendly will show a warning or information page.
Safe links
If there are no issues detected with the link, the user will continue to the selected link as expected. There will be no interstitial page or impact to the user flow.
Leaving Calendly Notification
For Free and Trial users, whenever a link is clicked within Calendly that navigates away from Calendly, a neutral notification interstitial will appear. This is to inform you that you are leaving Calendly; this does not imply that the link is unsafe. It’s simply a reminder to ensure you are aware of changing contexts.
Potentially unsafe links
Links that have been deemed to be potentially unsafe will take users to an interstitial, warning the link might not be safe. Should users wish to proceed, they will be able to select the link again to proceed.
