Event type permissions

With event type permissions, any user can be granted access to view and edit event types.

To find out current user roles and permissions, read this article here.

Note

Event type permissions are not available for team or managed events.

Note

Calendly owners and admins have full control over all users' events and bookings. Group admins can manage events from users in their respective group.

    • Transfer ownership: transfers event type ownership to another user.
  4. Save your changes.

Creating an event for another user

As an account owner or admin, you can create an event for another Calendly user. The animation below shows this action. As an admin, you will be made the owner of the event, but the user would be the host with editing permissions by default (or could also be changed to view permissions).rrrrrrr.gif

Select Edit Permissions/Edit hosts.

Editing permissions for one-off meetings and polls

You also can add hosts to one-off meetings and polls!
