How to edit holidays within Calendly

Put meetings on pause during major holidays without having to think about it. Holidays in Calendly automatically block off your availability for country-specific holidays, providing a hassle-free way to respect cultural and personal commitments.

Customize the holidays you observe by modifying the default list, ensuring accurate availability and maintaining a healthy balance.

Edit holidays within Calendly

Your Holiday settings will apply to all of your event types. If you want to offer availability for an event type on a holiday but keep other event types unavailable, you must first disable the holiday block on the availability page, and then can add Date-specific hours of unavailability to any event type you wish to make unavailable.

Note

Date-specific hours cannot override holidays to create availability without toggling the holiday date off.

To manage your holiday settings

  1. Select Availability from your left-hand navigation panel.

  2. Navigate to your Holidays tab.

What if a holiday is missing?

If there is a holiday you observe that is not within your Holidays tab or you are looking to block off additional dates within Calendly, you can add Date-specific hours to your availability.

You can also add an all-day busy event to your connected calendar. Within your connected calendar, you can create busy events to remove availability for vacations and time off.
