You can collect more details from your invitees by adding custom questions to your booking page—beyond just their name and email.
For each event type, you can add up to 10 custom questions. You can make questions optional or required. Required questions must be answered before an invitee can book. Choose the answer type that best fits the information you need.

Note
When using routing forms, only radio buttons and dropdown answers trigger routing logic.
Add invitee questions
- From your Event types page, select the event type you want to update.
- Select More options at the bottom of the editor.
- Expand the Invitee form section.
- Scroll to the bottom and select + Add new question.
- Enter your question.
- To make it required, select the Required checkbox.
- Choose your Answer type.
- If needed, add answer choices (depending on the answer type).
- Use the On/Off switch to toggle the question.
- Select Save changes.
Edit invitee questions
- From your Event types page, select the event type you want to update.
- Select More options.
- Expand the Invitee form section.
- Find the question you want to update.
- Edit the text or answer choices.
- Select Save changes.
Delete invitee questions
- From your Event types page, select the event type you want to update.
- Select More options.
- Expand the Invitee form section.
- Find the question you want to delete.
- Select the delete icon.
- Select Save changes.
View invitee answers
After an invitee books, Calendly saves their answers under your Meetings page. By default, answers are also included in notifications.
Note: If you're on the Standard plan or higher, you can edit your notification settings to remove invitee answers.
Download invitee answers
To download invitee answers, export the meeting details from your Meetings page.
