    Hi Nastaran,

    Thanks for posting on our community! I think it's best to share some of the great things that are not included in the free plan (but are available on our Premium plan):

    • Ability to remove Calendly branding so the invitee experience is consistent with your brand
    • Unlimited Event Types so that you can offer different kinds of events (Coffee Chat vs. Demo) to your invitees
    • Customizable email notifications and reminders that help personalize your invitees' experience

    While the free plan is value-rich, there are quite a bit more features packed into our Premium plan. You can determine which plan works best for you on our Pricing page.

    Hi Tim, I have the same question and you didn't really answer that question in your reply. Where can I find information on what is included in the free plan. I want to know exactly what the difference is.

    I just checked out the pricing page (link above) because I had the same question. That page has a side-by-side comparison of all the plans and what is included in each! Hope this helps :-)

    Thanks Matthew, yes I clicked on the link after I posted my comment. It does help! :-) At first I assumed it was the same page as what I saw on the account. But it's a different page. Not sure why they don't display this in the actual account so it is more transparent and visible.

    HI @Joseph Aaron Daiker,

    Yes, you can connect to one calendar integration on the free plan, 2 on the premium plan, and 6 on the pro plan.

    @Tim,

    I am just exploring and started with basic, now i am getting notification that it's about to expire... I don't get it, is it free or is it time bound?

    I am only using 1 event and signed up for basic only.. Why am i receiving this message?

    We offer a free 14-day Pro trial to all new accounts so you can have time to explore the full functionality of Calendly! At the end of your 14-day trial, you'll be automatically downgraded to the basic, free plan which does include the ability to offer invitees one event type to schedule. Additionally you can view a full list of what is included in our free, basic plan here

    I began using Calendly recently (I guess about 14 days ago) on a friend's suggestion and have liked it. I didn't like that the period of the trial and the list of basic features was not apparent from the beginning. I thought I *was* using the basic version. I discovered I wasn't when one of my links (I have 5) suddenly stopped functioning. No communication from the app on my phone or web app. I was planning on upgrading to "Premium" (and likely still will because I think there is some value) but the experience has dampened some of my enthusiasm as I now realize I have been using your "Pro" version.

    I agree with this. It is a bit misleading. Also- is there any chance pro accounts will be extended for virtual teachers? I know a lot of platforms are extending trials for teachers using school accounts.

    I am wondering if the free version of Calendly will continue to schedule Google Meets.  That is a feature that  I really like.  I hope I get an answer soon as I have scheduled meetings past the 14 day free trial of Pro.  I had no idea about the basic/free vs. pro version either.

     

    Lastly, do you have a pay per event option?  I only schedule parent/teacher conferences twice a year, so that is when I really need your service.  Thanks!

    Hi Alba,

    Thank you for reaching out!

    When your Pro trial ends, you will automatically be downgraded to our free Basic plan and will have access to the features which include: calendar integrations, schedule an unlimited amount of one-on-one events, 1 event type active at a time, Personalized Calendly link, automated event notifications and Knowledge Base access. The free Basic plan does not include the Zoom/GoToMeeting integrations. 

    Any events previously scheduled will remain on your Dashboard and your Invitees will not receive any sort of notification that your account has changed. However, if you have given out multiple event type links, when an Invitee visits the event type that is inactive, they will no longer be able to book that event type. 

    You can check out the differences between our plans over on our pricing page. Calendly's Premium plan allows for greater flexibility and personalization, including:

    • unlimited event types
    • ability to remove the "Powered by Calendly" branding
    • custom email confirmations + reminders to your invitees
    • group event types for tours, webinars, classes, etc
    • pooled availability options for teams
    • connect with 500+ apps using Zapier
    • GoToMeeting/Zoom integrations and much more!

    Our Pro plan includes all of the features of Premium, plus the option to integrate with awesome tools like Salesforce, Google Analytics, Stripe or PayPal, and more! 

    At this time we do not offer a pay per event option, but do have monthly subscriptions available if a short term commitment is what you are looking for!

    Ryan, you mention that Zoom integration is NOT part of the free Basic plan; however, when I click the link to your pricing page, there is a blue check mark next to Zoom integration in the Basic plan column. Can you please confirm if Zoom integration is available in the free Basic account?

    Thanks for posting your question!

    In October, we announced that our video conferencing integrations will now be available on the Basic account tier forever! You can find the blog post right here.

    Prior to this, we'd temporarily allowed the use of video conferencing integrations on the Basic account tier in response to help Calendly users facilitate their online meetings during the pandemic.

    Thanks for bringing this to my attention! I'm now editing the line about video integrations out of Tim's official response to avoid confusion when other people are looking for this answer.

    Like almost all the other comments here, I too was disappointed to find out right now that I have been using the Pro Plan during the trial period, when I understood that I was using the free/Basic Plan. 

    I need a simple calendar to schedule one type of mtg.  I am finishing up my website now with the person building it for me.  But now I am concerned about what will happen once the trial period is over.  What will change with the link we have embedded in the website.  This is not something I want to deal with by myself, once the person helping me is out of the picture and the website is done. 

    DOES ANYTHING NEED TO BE DONE TO THE LINK ON MY WEBSITE ONCE YOU STOP THE TRIAL PERIOD ???  What will change ??

    I want to just change it over NOW (from PRO to free/Basic), so I know exactly what will happen when the trial is over and if I need to go in another direction now, while I still have help with the website, I can.  But I don't see anywhere where I can make that change.

    Please advise asap.

    I am sitting here waiting for a response, and now looking back on the when the answers to questions were posted it's days and sometimes weeks before they are answered.

    Not sure what to do, I need answers now.  May need to look elsewhere.
