"Please note, if a participant signs up before you have enabled your the Follow up email setting within the event type, then they will not receive the follow up. If a participant books an event with you before you enable your follow up setting, make sure to reschedule the event so that the setting will be added to their event."
While this may be ok in a one-on-one meeting, this is very not conducive in a group meeting. We commonly use Calendly to schedule RSVPs for group meetings. We may have multiple events set up (so guests can start RSVPing), however, we haven't created the follow up emails (with a survery link) until closer to the meeting. Now, everyone who signed up earlier won't get the follow up email. And it's unrealistic to rechedule all confirmed guests to the event.
For group meetings, please allow that ALL follow up confirmations are sent out to all confirmed guests regardless of when they actually registered.
