UpWork (a big freelance platform) introduced new terms of service. One of the points: you cannot share contact information before the contract is initiated. They received a lot of feedback from freelancers but they wouldn't care. https://community.upwork.com/t5/Announcements/Communicating-On-and-Outside-of-Upwork-Terms-of-Service-Changes/m-p/753812
If you go to that page, you will see that a lot of people including myself, use Calendly to schedule calls. And now it goes against the updated ToS of UpWork.
Is there a way you could create the event without the obligatory email field? Of course, with this, we'll lose part of the beautiful features like reminders and calendar embed for the invitee. This will still be better than manual scheduling. Moreover, this problem will touch many of your customers.
The new rules will become effective as of June 26. Thus, you have some time should you wish to react to this.
