Oh dear. I'm evaluating Calendly right now and this precise question is crucial, so much so that I've just sent pretty much the same question directly to Support. However, the fact that you don't appear to have received even an acknowledgment let alone a response in almost three months is not very encouraging. Did you perhaps hear anything back privately?

UPDATE: Calendly support got back to me pretty quickly, but unfortunately their answer isn't what I was hoping for. They said:

"Currently, there's no way to automatically include a user in a Collective event if they're not a member of the team account."

    So, a flat no.

Now note that I was asking specifically about the Collective scheduling option (where Calendly helps you find time that all prospective attendees have available). So I guess that leaves scope in theory for external user support for the other two multi-person scheduling options, namely: Round Robin, and Group. But in actual fact I suspect not. The multi-person scheduling helps is all given in terms of scheduling among members of a Calendly Team, and as far as I can see, you cannot add external users to Teams. Therefore you cannot get Team features such as multi-person scheduling for such users either. Ah well.

One other point. Yours, Hilary, three months ago in November 2019, is not the first suggestion of this idea. There's another in August of 2019, and even one as far back as June 2017, over two and half years ago. Neither of those appears to have received any acknowledgement (on the thread at least) from Calendly folk, so it doesn't sound like this is an idea that's getting implemented any time soon.

P.S. As a suggested workaround, the Calendly support guy pointed me to this article snippet which explains how to have the external attendee(s) pinged by an email to let them know about the meeting, so they can then manually schedule in their own calendar. Doesn't work for me, but maybe others could make something of it.
