    But isn't this basically the whole point of Calendly? Or any booking service like this? You can see the availability - in this case, they can SEE that the trainer is out until 8/11/19, and they can choose to book after that date, or they can choose another option (I'm assuming you have Calendly links for other trainers, or however else you handle those customers).

    You are correct. However, if we are in fact unavailable it does not give the customer any options. Customer has one link, the one to their dedicated trainer. If the trainer happens to be out does this mean that they now know they are not available but have to wait until the person is back to be able to book? Along with this we would like the option of a message that tells the customer what to do next:

    1-Select a date when the trainer is back which would not be grayed out (already existing option).

    2-They need immediate attention and need to book a training ASAP. What link can they use. 

    Something quick and easy that doesn't force the customer to call other departments to try and figure out what their other options are.

    We have been advised to use the event description in the past but then this means that I have to remove the content for each event and once that OOO has ended I have to update it again with the actual event description.
