    Hi @Diana McCredie,

Apple no longer allows the changing of event status with their latest iOS and MacOS updates; so, the best solution is to create another event that spans the entire working day so that Calendly blocks any conflicting time slots.

Hello. Check in outlook if your day out of the office lists you as free, busy, tentative, etc. By default, Outlook seems to list my all day events (including time off) as free. Once you list yourself as busy on outlook, the problem on Calendly should fix itself.

Ugh. I use iCal and I've several days that were blocked for "ALL DAY" events but Calendly shows my calendar as free. It's been frustrating to have to go and reschedule these clients. What can I do to let Calendly know these "ALL DAY" days are not free? - Thanks!

Thanks! I think I figured out to make certain the appointment shows as “busy” on my iCalendar. That seemed to fix it.

Not exactly the same issue, but... my Calendly won't synch with my Outlook365 calendar at all. It shows all my time available, whether marked as busy or out of office. My Outlook is set up via GoDaddy, so that may be part of the problem, but I have no trouble getting calendly appts TO my outlook.

    Hi @Tom,

Happy to help here. It seems that Calendly is checking all events and their varying statuses for conflicts:I'd suggest double checking that the event, however, is not part of any other sub calendars not listed here. If you have further questions, then please feel free to write a support ticket so that our team can dive in further. That way, we can help your use-case out specifically.

Calendly does not recognize "all day" events in iCal.  Is there a solution?

    Hi Pamela,

To clarify, the iCloud calendar integration is not the same as an Apple Calendar/iCal integration, although we've noticed many people mix them up! Since iCal/Apple Calendar is simply a user interface, it is not possible for Calendly to integrate with Apple Calendar/iCal at this time.

That said, I took a peek at your account and can see that you are connected through an iCloud calendar.

All-Day events within the iCloud calendar are set to Free by default. Unfortunately, the "busy" option won’t appear on desktop, so this will have to be updated via phone or tablet.

    For example:

After you access your iCloud calendar via a mobile device, you should be able to set your all-day events to busy. Once this is done, Calendly will recognize the busy conflict within your connected calendar.

If you are still running into issues with this, feel free to reach out to our team at support@calendly.com so that we can take a closer look!

    Best,
