Problem: moving an appointment in Google Calendar (and presumably other calendar sources) does NOT update the date and time details in Calendly.
Impact: confusion and potentially lost sales and productivity.
* Email reminders sent from Calendly, or integrations tied to Calendly (such as CRM) not Google Calendar will have the wrong information.
* The client/prospect may receive contradictory meeting time reminders and indications.
* After an event is moved, it's no longer re-schedulable once the original time/notice period expires
* Calendly reminders and the dashboard display are inaccurate
Solution: for events marked as Calendly-created events in the connected calendar, watch for any changes to those events and replicate in Calendly.
Impact of solution: calendar is actually reliable again.
Importance: Very high. This should be basic functionality. You have a 2-way sync in place, which even works for deletions, but not edits. The only types of systems that DON'T honour this kind of move (I'm thinking project management systems in particular) are those that do NOT have a 2-way sync in place, but just publish an ics feed or similar. By enabling edits, you are creating conditions for silent failure with no feedback, the worst kind of user interface failure.
