    Hello,

Happy to let you know that phone numbers will now always be represented with proper formatting. Example (US Numbers): +1 123-456-7890.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact support@calendly.com.

    Hi Vanessa,

Thank you for submitting this idea! While I don’t have a target date on when we will offer to carry the dashes forward in the phone number formatting of confirmation emails, I can share your suggestions with the team to discuss further.

Can you clarify if you currently grab the phone number from the confirmation to call your invitee? In the current format, do you need to copy the number to be able to place a call?

    Let me know.

It works fine if you are making the call from a mobile phone where you can click on the hyperlinked number and it dials it.  When I am calling from a desk phone, where I have to enter it manually, the missing hyphens make it difficult to read and enter accurately.  With there being a specific required and formatted field for phone numbers, it is surprising and frustrating that it would be missing such a standard formatting to make the phone number easily readable.

    Hannah,

I don't copy and paste or call from a link on a mobile device. As Merilee pointed out, the issue is legibility when trying to read a number in order to dial it. All we're asking for is dashes between the numbers.
