Show 'No slots available' message instead of non-clickable calendar

    Hi David,

When your event type has no availability set for it within the event type settings, your invitee will see a notification letting them know that there is no availability for this event type:

If you have availability set but all time slots are unavailable, your invitee will not see an error message, but they will see that all of your days are grayed out and unavailable. If you would like for there to be a message that there is no availability in this instance, could you add this request to our idea portal? We truly value hearing feedback like this, and our product team monitors this page on a daily basis to learn how to make Calendly a better experience for both our users and their invitees!

    Hi Kendall

    Thanks for the reply

That's exactly what my idea was for

Its a rather odd design. From the users perspective, they dont know/dont need to know/dont care what the settings are. The point is, in both situations, they can't book.

Therefore, the experience / messaging should be identical.

Calendly could even think of a message like: You can request a new availability time slot here.

    Hi there,

These are great suggestions! In fact with our new booking flow, if you are unavailable for the entire month we will display a message saying "No times in [insert month]". See below:

    I hope this helps!

That's definitely a big step forward, so thanks for implementing that

But if the system knows there are no appointments available at all, you shouldn't make the user do any work at all ie don't make them click on several months to find that out

Look forward to seeing that improvement

Hopefully we might see a fix for this too:
