    All,

I'm happy to say that we will be making vast improvements to our API in 2020. This functionality is on the roadmap. While I can't give you a set date, I can say we'll be looking to address this in the first half of the year.

Feel free to email me if you have any questions: n.nwankwo@calendly.com

I too would love to see this being developed.

The company I represent only want to share links that are single-use.

We do however wish to use your Outlook plugin tho generate these links in emails and even further down the line maybe use them alongside Salesforce.

Therefore one-time links via your API would open a whole new world of possibility for us.

This would be a big help for us as well.  Our clients have retainers with us. I'd like to let people who have a positive balance schedule meetings with us.  If I could generate one time link, I could let people check to see if they have a balance and then give them a meeting link when they do.

    Thanks

    Todd

Any updates here? We're in need of this feature as I forsee potential abuse of the simplicity of the platform after some users get a gold of the link.

This would be very beneficial inside of my funnel as well so that people may only use the link once PER PERSON.

Following up on this - we'd love to leverage a single-use API as well for automation purposes. Any news from Calendly on this?

I mean, it is a feature you already have, it is just about exposing it through the API. It is a very low hanging fruit very useful for your most advanced (and dedicated users). It should not take so many months to be delivered

Totally agree with this feature.  I even requested the ability to view one-time links and expire them (see https://help.calendly.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360038761793-Viewing-Expiring-Single-Use-Links).  Ultimately my feature request + this one would let me offer one-time links to people during the purchase of something else, and I could expire unused ones after the time to use them has elapsed.  I’m in the process of strongly considering moving to another platform (or self-hosting) because Calendly’s support of advanced use cases and communication of their release plan for feature requests is not being heard.

Really need this. Have candidates re-scheduling meetings with me when they have been rejected for jobs and I don't need another interview with them.

The above official comment indicated this was on the roadmap and would be addressed in the first half of 2020. Is there any update on this?

Also would (could) making this functionality available via the API also make it available via Zapier?

Hey all, after having the same questions as all of you, I found a thing in GitLab, so I've returned to gift it to you all

    https://about.gitlab.com/handbook/support/workflows/calendly.html#generating-a-single-use-calendly-link

    tl;dr:

    curl -v --header "X-TOKEN: <your Calendly API token>" \
    --data "event_type_uuid=<event type uuid>" \
    https://calendly.com/api/apps/extension/v1/users/me/event_type_single_use_links

    Thanks @Jazmin!

Note for others less familiar with curl: this is a post request with form data (implied by specifying data). I was having trouble using Postman because I was first using JSON instead of form-data and then also using GET instead of POST.

Hi! Did you guys get to this yet? You said the first half of 2020 and it's now October 2020. We really need this, any solutions?

I was able to get it to work using what Jazmin posted above. Now if only we could query existing links and expire them (different feature request for that).
