    Hi Dan,

Calendly is built to read scheduling conflicts on your connected calendar and automatically remove that time from your live scheduling links. This in conjunction with the availability settings of your event types creates your true availability so that you will not be double-booked and you will only be scheduled when you want!

Calendly is not able to read events with a "free" status on your connected calendar and only offer those times for you to be scheduled. Any time that is not blocked by a busy event or an availability setting during the set interval of availability can be booked. If you want to restrict which times you can be scheduled for office hours, you will want to edit the recurring availability of your "Office Hours" event type to create specific intervals of availability for when you are offering office hours. Check out this video that covers how to set up availability in your event types!
