    Hello all,

Thank you for submitting this idea! While I don't have a target date on when we will offer SMS reminders for hosts, I can share your suggestions with the team to discuss further.

While Calendly does not have the capability to send you (as the user) a reminder text at this time, there are some options with Google and Office 365 connected calendars.

Feel free to reach out to support@calendly.com for more information.

    Thanks,

    Hannah at Calendly

If you use Slack, you can use a Zapier integration to get the push notification: https://zapier.com/apps/calendly/integrations/slack

    This solved my problem.

Will Calendly send a text notification when the host cancels or reschedules an appointment if they have the text feature activated?

Another vote for this feature! I just had someone upset because I missed an appointment that I never knew I had.

another vote for this feature... I cant keep checking my calendar to see that I am busy. A notification that I am busy would be perfect!

I would still like to have this as a native feature! Until then, I have set up ClickSend with Zapier. Thought others might use this workaround too. https://zapier.com/apps/calendly/integrations/clicksend

Chiming in as a new Calendly user - it's absolutely critical that Calendly text me when someone has scheduled a meeting onto my calendar.  It's impossible for me to track all new additions, especially same day.  Hopefully you're hearing this from enough people and will prioritize this feature.  If Calendly can text the scheduler, surely it can text the host too?

    Hi,

I love calendly so far first of all! The only major thing I notice that is a huge hindrance that almost every other scheduler has is the ability to send email & text notifications when an appointment gets booked.

This would not be something that would hard to build.

I know because our software was built using some of this technology.

Please add at least email notifications. The calendars are not as good when you need multiple people to be notified especially when you are away from the office or computer.

Text notifications/Email notifications would give Calendly another differentiator advantage.

PLEASE get something for this I missed one today I did not see that someone booked a call with me yesterday! I am absolutely looking for other options after today this is such a huge dealbreaker! I need to get a notification when they book and also a reminder. I can't understand why you wouldn't have the option to CC or BCC my phone number in to each text that goes out or at least email me.

It's shocking this does not exist, a HUGE missed opportunity. Stewart this happened to me today as well! Email WAS created but it's super easy to miss. There needs to be a phone notifications, I literally LIVE on my notifications screen on mobile.

Hi all who are looking for this feature :. I have found a way to do this by using Zapier . It was very easy to set up and free. I know that's not ideal to have to connect to another product but it works great, and you can set up other notifications as well.

thanks .. although all the integrations cause headaches and this should be a no brainer this cant be that difficult if you already do all the reminders and notifications for the attendee.. So frustrating to miss ones I never saw scheduled! I had to put a huge lead time before people can schedule to have time to see it but would prefer to change that

I vote for the text notification to host of scheduled appointments -- especially if someone sets up an appointment the same day OR after business hours the previous day - for the next day (aka, if I don't happen to be working in my email for a few hours, I might miss the appointment because I hadn't seen the it in my Inbox...)  - yes, I know about the "don't schedule x hours before event, but then the don't schedule feature limits potential clients to have an appointment soon/today...)

PS - I'm not sure how this can be much of a technical problem, because Calendly already can text attendees...

I third the motion - a text and an email to myself is no different that setting one to go to the client

I have no idea when I'm out showing houses that I've been scheduled for another appointment unless I go to my calendar and look.  A SMS text notification would be so much better because when we are in an appointment, we can't go checking calendar.

Precisely - it is ridiculous that Celendly have deliberately decided to block us from getting the same notifications as clients. It would have been so easy to put us on the same notification schedule as clients when they were coding this up.

This seems ridiculous to get notifications for this comment and nothing is being done this is a simple request that causes major issues because of using your product I have missed several and its terrible trying to explain to people why! I am looking for other solutions because of this issue it is incredibly frustrating

I totally agree with everyone. A text notification when someone schedules would be perfect.  And I agree, if the client can get a text notification, why can't the host?  Absolutely is a Must Have, otherwise I see the havoc this can cause of missed appointments on the host part as well as the hassle of having to keep check your emails to see if any new appointments has risen.  That quite a bit defeats some of the purpose of saving time and being efficient. Not having this critical element doesn't make sense...again if the client can get text notification/reminders, why can't the host?  Would love to hear from the Calendly people on this multi-request.
