    Hi Hannah,

Thank you for submitting this idea. Currently there are two ways to control how your clients see time zones when they book with you. The default is for them to always see availability in their time zones (this auto-detects and is good for virtual calls), and the other option is to lock the time zone so that everybody sees the same time zone (better for in person meetings so everyone is on the same page).

    Article here: https://help.calendly.com/hc/en-us/articles/223193508-Time-zones

Let me know if this is helpful! If you have deeper questions our Customer Happiness team is experienced with a lot of the different ways Calendly users are setting up their accounts: support@calendly.com.

    Cheers,
    Felix

I very much need a platform that will allow me to change the time zone on specific dates so my clients can book in advance. RIght now I have clients who book a session but in that time zone in the future it will end up being 3am. No bueno. Please consider adding this ASAP. You will be greatly serving the travel biz market.

Hi Felix, that doesn't answer his question, which pertains to our own timezone, as the person doing the inviting, not the invitees' time zones.

e.g. If I know I'm travelling next month to the UK (GMT) but am normally in New York (GMT-5), and my availability is 9am-12pm, how can someone book a future time with me at 9am GMT, not GMT-5, if I am currently in New York.

I'm sure this is a common use-case for many users.

This really is a common issue. I hope calendly can look into this ASAP. I travel internationally for work and what is good if my calendar can't adjust to my schedule.

Same here. I'm travelling 2.5 weeks every month in 3 different timezones (PST, EST, CET), can't use Calendly for more than 1.5 week / month.. I'd be happy to pay a small premium fee for timezone activations specifically for some weeks (defined by me in advance) otherwise I can hardly use Calendly.

I also have this problem as I travel for work frequently. I'll be in various timezones on different weeks for the next few months, and my weekly availability is already set in calendly. So now I'll have to go day by day to adjust this for the next few months. Otherwise I'll have people booking appointments with me during times I won't actually be available. Hoping a change gets implemented, otherwise it's an amazing product and service :)

Same!  Business travelers, whether sales or management, travel between time zones and even continents.  This week California, next week Eastern time zone, the following week Europe, then back to California.    So I need my 9am-5pm availability window to change by week.   This is a feature that would particularly appeal to people making many expensive international plane flights, so would gladly pay for the upgrade: i.e. your best customers!

I have this need also. I'm traveling next week for 2 weeks and I need to set that so that Calendly can be intelligent enough to only allow booking to happen in the timezone I am in.

I love this service, however as a consultant that travels all the time, this is an essential feature for me and I'm already looking elsewhere to see if it is supported. Not a threat of course, but just letting you know how important it is and I hope it's inline with your company direction.

How many people need to post SAME before Calendly introduces this feature? Working remotely for most of July and it would be great if this feature was available by then.

If the feature isn't available, whats the recommended move I should make to hold meetings and demos during normal business hours (8-5) in EST time? (my normal timezone is PST).

I have this same need. I am setting up Calendly for our senior executives and they travel from the East Coast to California often. They want the 8:00 am to 6:00 pm availability to change by week as well. The ability to set what time zone you are going to be in at a future date would be very helpful. If this is not currently available, what is a workaround that we can use?

Same here. I want to be able to assign timezones to certain dates when I'm travelling.

I have this exact need as well.

My Calendly team is made up of users in different time zones and I can only set 1 time zone for a team... this is nonfunctional for me!! For example: If an invitees scheduled a call in their timezone say 3pm EST, but for the team members (no matter what time zone they are in) the event comes in at 12pm PST (admin holder's timezone), how does that work for the actual team members fielding the meetings!

    It doesn't at all.

Please look into this feature ASAP. I will not be able to use Calendly if I can not have this feature due to the fact that my team is in multiple different timezones.

You should pull the setting from Google Calendar automatically. I don't want to remember setting the TZ every time I'm bouncing between CET and PDT.

I too have the same need. It would be an amazing feature for Calendly to build. If built, I would shift our company to upgrade and use Calendly across the board.

@Calendly Team - Any chance this is in development or you know of a better workaround than the one shared by @Felix, which doesn't actually address the issues?

Many thanks for any and all guidance.

This option would make Calendly PERFECT.
Until this option is in place it's either 1) do no work while outside of my usual timezone or 2) use another calendar system.

This is essential to turn Calendly from a nice to have add-on into an essential road-warrior tool.

How many people travel for business? Just look at the figures.

If you get on a plane you are most likely going to change timezones (or else it isnt' worth the cost of flying).

I am AMAZED nobody has though to do this feature from the Off!

Not only is Calendly missing a trick - so is the competition guys! A chance to corner the biz market for the first one with the feature...

MASSIVE +1 bump for this feature please.

For people who travel it makes Calendly practically unusable.  I propose a TIMEZONE SHIFT feature such as

ON X DATE to Y DATE

    SET MY TIMEZONE TO/AS Z

ON X2 DATE  to Y2 DATE

    SET MY TIMEZONE TO/AS Z2

OTHERWISE SET MY DEFAULT TIMEZONE TO X

So travelers can have their calendars reflect where in the world they will be in the near future!

I have the same need. Located in Switzerland and travelling to the US often so I need my clients to be able to book a meeting during the time zones I'm awake :) Thanks

It's been 2 years since the original post and it seems this issue has not been resolved.  Please allow us to set time zones for specific dates.  Very crucial.  Can we get an update on this request?

Hey folks! This seems like a pretty important feature that's lacking. Any updates on this?

I made a quick video about how you could do a simple implementation: https://www.loom.com/share/685fed078a544f7ca3c59a1ea0c0de97

Adding a vote for a feature that lets you set different time zones for travel days.

One more vote for this feature. I travel quite often and this is a major pain point with calendly. Manually updating each event type, including our various team event types, for all the random days/weeks I'll be raveling is time consuming and very error prone.

For those of us that use Tripit, adding Tripit integration would be super useful to determine in what timezone we are located and set our (9-5) availability accordingly: https://help.calendly.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360014372733-Add-Tripit-Integration?page=1#community_comment_360004876494

I travel about once a month to different timezones. As I am based in Australia, everywhere else in the world is a huge difference in time. How are we coming along with having the ability to change the timezone of the calendar to a new timezone for dates which could be months in the future depending on how early I book my flights.

Example given and official response is wrong.

If I have my local timezone set today and then travel to the US, it will be almost a 12 hour difference in some states, therefore a booking at midday Sydney time will result in a midnight booking US time. This doesn't work.

We need the ability to set a travel period and a travel location, which will then change the local time for that period even before that time is reached. For instance, if I leave next week, I can't change my local timezone until I leave, and anyone seeing my availability for next week will see Sydney time, not destination time. This is badly needed!!!

Hi, I also really need this feature! This month I will be traveling in 3 time zones spanning a GMT+2 to GMT-7 range! There needs to be a way to have Calendly be told that I am shifting timezones on certain days so I can still get meetings booked during my travel on days I am at the office remotely without it being a total headache that makes me wish I had an assistant and not an app to help me book meetings... honestly this feature isn't rocket science, can be done pretty easy! Just add a UI that lets me shift my schedule up or down X hours based on timezone shifts I am doing day-to-day from the dashboard.

    Thanks!

If Calendly could do this, I'd use (and pay for) Calendly.

This made Calendly unusable for me, but I found a solution that works for me ... I have an event called "sleep" recurring every day. When I plan a trip, I move the 'sleep' event for the days of the trip.

(I just have it in my main calendar, but I think it would work to make a separate calendar for it and connect that to Calendly.)
