    Hello all,

Happy to let you know that tentative events can now be read as busy in your Outlook.com and Office 365 connected calendars.

If you have additional questions or concerns, please reach out to support@calendly.com.

    Best,
    Hannah at Calendly

I second this one. This is pretty key to avoid double-booking.

This is a high priority for our team, as we have a mix of bookings being made in and outside of Calendly.

I add my voice as one who needs this feature as well.

The unavailable  feature for tentative meetings would be very beneficial. Please amend and update. Thank you Calendly team.

This is definitely a roadblock for me as well. Often I have meetings sitting in my outlook calendar on Tentative status. I do not want to double book myself and this is preventing me from sending out calendly invites to my clients in March ( I am a new user). Thank you.

I recently spoke with one of the product managers at a local Atlanta meet up about this issue. We use Office 365 with Calendly. She explained that it is currently a security issue via O365. O365 does not share visibility into tentative status' for privacy reasons... I was left under the impression that this is not a feature that will change any time soon due to the constrictions of O365.

Not sure if it is different for other email platforms, it would be great if a Calendly rep. could comment on this.

    Thanks,

    Kaitlyn

Been using for 5 minutes now and this is already a problem for me.

I understand if that's a limitation of O365, but some of us use Outlook 2010/2013 on Exchange server.  Curious whether the same privacy issue applies?

We have gotten around this problem by changing a setting in Outlook to automatically accept all meetings - avoiding the Tentative status completely.

I am using Outlook 2016.  I do not want to automatically accept all meeting though and would like to block time I am not sure I want to make available with "Tentative"

Any workarounds or has this been addressed / fixed?

    Thank you,

    Andrew

Looking for answers here too. Currently putting 'OOO' for tentative meetings, but would really like to see 'Tentative' being officially supported.

I've been using Calendly for less than a week and my second appointment already hit on this issue exactly. Now I'm already apologizing to people for the mix-up. This issue could be a deal breaker and I'm sorry to see there has been no movement on the issue for the past year and a half.

The only useful workaround for me has been to auto-accept every meeting that is booked with me. This avoids having those naughty tentative meetings that can be double-booked. It also makes me look super keen. But yes, we've been waiting a long time for this key fix.

After back and forth, I now don't use "tentative" and instead mark all appointments as "busy" and write "(HOLD)" in the appointment description.  Not ideal but it's been an OK workaround

Geez, this should be another check box that is easy to add, but maybe not!
