I'd like to see this feature as well. And be able to import from different countries.

This is an absolutely necessary feature for the roadmap.

Yes, it would be nice to have the ability to choose specific holidays that I want blocked out on my calendars. A simple checkbox under 'account settings' with common holidays along with the ability to add custom recurring holidays would do. My wife thanks you for this feature ;)

I've found a quick fix for this for those in California. If you subscribe to this calendar, the holidays are marked as "busy" rather than "free" which should prevent you from being available in Calendly.

    Link here: http://www.officeholidays.com/ics/ics_region.php?list_region=California&tbl_country=USA

There are probably more calendar likes this for the different states if you search :)

Just go to the calendar date in the google calendar used for scheduling and set up an event. Under options you can set the day as 'busy'. it is then not available to set appointments.

Echoing this, I actually made the same request here in May 2018: https://help.calendly.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360007652373-Blacklisting-annual-Holidays?flash_digest=317eb6f743e5e8d0d2ab0d543561735055248c1a

Second that! C'mon Calendly the initial feature proposal came in 2016. It's long overdue

Ability to add blackout at the team level is crucial.  You all added the ability to do it at the event level, which is painful as we have 20+ events, and I'll have to go touch each one individually.  We should be able to do it at the team or organizational level.  Event level blackouts are less useful.

    Hi!

My wish is that pubic-calenders of google can be used in calendly, eg.

calendar-ID "de.austrian#holiday@group.v.calendar.google.com" and mark the entries as busy.

With that feature everyone could blackout national holidays.

    Best wishes,

    Ronald

Google Calendar has a feature where I can import "Interesting Calendars" (https://support.google.com/calendar/answer/6084659?co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid&hl=en). I chose to import "Holidays in France" for instance.

I imported these events into Calendly but they aren't blocked into my calendar, probably because I'm not actually "busy" at these times.

Support suggested I manually create an event for all holidays but that's quite painful and annoying. It would be great if I could just say "I'm busy for every event in this calendar", which could block my calendar on these days.

Yes, I have only Mondays and now I want to block for Christmas and New Years without having to set up a bunch of appointments with myself. Any other ways?

    Thanks,

    Denise

This would be great to have as an option.

Being able to blackout the 4th of July, or any other holiday given that this is an international platform would be much appreciated

This feature would be extremely useful as there does not seem to be any way to achieve this within Google Calendar.

Possibly in the "Check calendar for conflicts" section you could have another option next to each calendar where it would assume all events in that calendar as busy.

This is a critical feature.  Having prospects make appointments on holidays is a real problem.

I am puzzled why Google has not fixed this despite the wide number of requests and fundamental need for this in a calendar!

Yes, I need this too! Chinese New Year here in Hong Kong and I don't want prospects booking classes with me over this weekend!

I found that rather than making appointments with myself on Google Calendar, you can select 'I am unavailable' for certain days when marking your availability in specific events

I need this feature as well! I have the holidays linked up but it doesn't show me as "busy" during that time.

Please, please, please give us this ability. It just makes sense.

I would like to be able to add a calendar I subscribe to as one of my 6 calendars that are checked for my availability.

These should be available as two of my calendars.
