    Hi all,

Happy to let you know that we now allow your invitees to add guests on the booking flow. Check out more about the new feature here!

    Hi,

Thank you for submitting this idea! And thank you for including the example use case. This is a feature we are considering on the roadmap.

I really want this feature too! I work in Customer Success and I do demos for our sales presentations. If my sales team gets a Calendly booked from a prospect, I need to be automatically added, else we have to go through additional steps manually sometimes things get missed. Having an auto CC would be nice.

I'd also love this feature.  I coordinate and book meetings on the behalf of my colleagues.  Being included on the meeting invite, even though I won't attend helps me keep track of things.

Is this being discussed still @ Calendly?

We really need this feature; at least to CC one teammate once a meeting is scheduled.

Agreed!  I really need this.  I manage multiple calendars and it would be great if when a meeting was booked on calendly that it also blocked my other calendars which other people have access to.

Add me to the list of those wanting this. What's the holdup?

We could also use a feature that allows our clients to schedule meetings with "must attend" and "optional attend" team members.

Hi! Checking in on this feature as we have one person that attends the meeting, but we have other team members that want visibility. Is this slated for release soon?

Hey, Calendly. Any updates on this status of this feature. Would love to have our appointment setters stop flying blind.

Hi Calendly, a feature that allows us to set availability on one person's calendar but invite additional team members would be very helpful for teams working together.

Often a client will request a phone call or meeting with me, and will want to include other members of their own team in the meeting.  If there could be a section for "additional emails" to forward the invite to all parties during the scheduling process, that would be ideal.

Currently, I believe the only option is for them to go back to their own calendar after the meeting has been added, open it up and forward it to additional guests that way.  It's just a cumbersome/extra step and I'd prefer the scheduling to be easier/seamless for my clients to include all invitees at time of scheduling.

Additionally, a junior member of my own sales team may need to schedule a meeting with a prospective client, for which they'd like me to attend the meeting with them.  Currently, they have to schedule with me through Calendly and then go back into their own Outlook Calendar, open the meeting up, and add whatever additional text is necessary for the client, then forward to the client.   Again, very cumbersome and leaves room for error/inconsistency.  Would be much better if they could add additional addresses while setting up the initial appointment via Calendly, but also-  there should be a field that allows the scheduler to add necessary comments and/or instructions for additional attendees.

We also require the ability for administrative staff to be invited and aware of the meetings that Calendly schedules. We don't require/want those staff member's calendars to be used as part of the availability determination.

In short, we need the ability for Calendly to allow/enable optional internal attendees. Is this possible today, or can you please consider adding this functionality?

    Hi Mark,

Thank you for the feedback! If you do not want to use the invitee guest feature (seen here), are you able to use calendar invitations? If so, you are able to add a guest to the calendar event for both you and your invitees to be updated after the event has been booked.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact support@calendly.com.

    Best,
    Hannah at Calendly

    Hi Hannah McIntosh,

We are still waiting on this feature, your recommended solution does not meet the need.

To highlight the original  request this should be a setting in the event setup screens with the purpose of "these attendees is to ensure they receive the invite but the availability of time slots in Calendly is NOT dependent on their own availability".

thank you in advance for your update.

+1 for this feature. I'd love it if we could schedule a collective event where, say, only 4 out of 5 people on the schedule slot need to be available.

I also want this feature - frankly I require it for my use case. I kind of assumed it would be here... I am stuck not able to really use Calendly without this, as the other party is not CCed on the invites.

I am not sure why this is marked as "Completed" since it doesnt exist.

Yes, I agree that although being able to attendees to an already booked appointment is useful, it doesn't cover this feature request.

Our use case is Job Interviews where we need 1 (or 2) people to be required, but would like to CC: a group of people who can optionally attend.

Just signed up my team and really surprised this doesn’t exist. The proposed solution requires work that we don’t want to perform for each inbound

Just signed up to evaluate Calendly against Youcanbook.me and was leaning towards Calendly when I realized this critical feature was missing. My organization will be using Youcanbook.me until we can CC the invite to other optional attendees, a feature that Youcanbook.me has had for years.

Because we have team members in different time zones, we can't base signup availability on more than one calendar, but non-essential team members still need invites so they can attend when they are available. Inviting these optional team members manually for each event that is created defeats the purpose of purchasing an automated tool in the first place.

Is there any movement on this?  This is a vital feature that was requested 2 years ago...

At the time of booking, it looks like you can add additional invites but you can't do it once the session is booked.  Once it is booked, you can only change the main contact.

This needs to exist on the account owner side within the settings of the meeting type.  NOT on the side of the invitee.
