    Hello all,

Have you used our buffers setting in our advanced availability options? While it is not based on location, you can easily customize the amount of time per event type. For any questions, reach out to support@calendly.com.

    Best,

I agree... Calendly should not allow appointments to be scheduled into travel time. This is critical for me.

Right now Calendly doesn't consider travel time as being busy and thus not a conflict.

Is there a work around for this?

    +1 This!

Buffer is not the solution since not all my meetings require traveling and each destination of travel is not the same travel time.

This would be a really handy feature to have.

Please make Calendly location aware. If I have an appointment scheduled in City A and someone wants to schedule an appointment in City B availability should be adjusted to take travel time into consideration. Calendly could query Google Maps for the required travel time by car / public transport and only offer appointment slots that allow enough time for me to actually get to City B.

To be clear, the issue isn't with buffering an event type when a new event is made (that is a good feature), but with honoring any travel times entered on specific calendar entries already made.  Calendly should block times available based on existing scheduled events AND their specified reserved travel times.

+1 to all the above. Buffering isn't a suitable solution since events have different travel times.

Has there been any official update on Calendly potentially adopting this location-based, travel-time buffer automation?

+ 1.  My work-around is that I go on to my calendar and add travel time into my appointment manually (not using Apple Travel Time) and put the real time of the appointment in the subject line. Being location aware would be amazing, so that the buffer preference can be overridden by actual travel time looking at the locations between events.

This issue just happened to me where two appointments were booked during my travel time. Not to look like an ass I will be forced to travel early so I can accommodate them.

This feature request was raised 3 1/2 years ago. Please implement this feature Calendly product team so people using your service can avoid looking like asses. Thanks from an avid user
