    Hi all -

Thank you for submitting this idea! While I don’t have a target date on when we will offer disabling the auto-confirmation for calendar invitations coming from Calendly, I can share your suggestions with the team to discuss further.

For now, you can make these changes to scheduled events.

    Best,
    Hannah at Calendly

I think this feature would also be helpful for folks who incorrectly input their email address. I have had quite a few times now that I show up for a meeting, wait 5 minutes alone, and then realize the email address is incorrect/non-existent and have to follow up separately with my invitee.

Hey, the original post was nearly 3 years ago asking for this option.... why is it not actioned yet???  I just switched from vCita to this but not having this feature may be a deal breaker... Please advise if it will be actioned and why after 3 years it hasn't been?

I'm also waiting for this feature. It's much needed.

Many times I use "Add Guests" feature in the email form, and I don't want all the guests to auto-accept the invite (and also the main invitee).

Is this issue fixed? This is super critical for us. We have a team of 20 people who all requested this feature....

Yet another fairly basic function to add -- 3 years of people requesting and it's still not implemented.

The opposite is also true -- that when others schedule with you, it auto accepts. I understand that the point is to reduce steps and you have already set your availability. However, the ability for others to simply block out your calendar by booking as many appointments as they'd like and you having to cancel them is daunting.

    Both should be optional.

    Simple functions:

    1. [YES / NO] Invitee is automatically marked as "Going" [If you select 'No', the invitee must accept the calendar invitation after booking an appointment].
    2. [YES / NO] Booked events are automatically accepted on your calendar [If you select 'No', you will be notified of new appointments and must manually approve them before a confirmation of the event is sent to invitees.

Voila - you'd have 2 new great features that numerous people have been requesting for multiple years.
