    Hello all,

Thanks for all the great feedback about this very popular request. Happy to let you know that the new UI will include auto-detecting invitee location to determine the display of your available times in either 24 hour or AM/PM format. Check out more about the upcoming changes here.

    Best,

    Hannah at Calendly

Thanks for the feedback David. As displaying times in 24h format is a new feature in Calendly, it's always interesting to hear your suggestions as we consider iterating. Will share with the team.

Same for us. Juste try calendly and we will take the premium plan if we could be able to set the default to the 24h format. (And possibly lock it). All our customers are in Europe.

Is there any chance to see that at short term ?

    Thanks !

So, will this happen? Times showing 12h format just confuse people here so we cannot really use the service until this has been fixed.

Agree, that a real problem for European usage, we have miss some of events, lost customers that doesn't understand how that works. For example, they came at 7:00 am instead of 7:00 pm and post incredible message about our company on Facebook page saying that we were not serious. We have bought a licence of your software to get more serious way to manage our events and the result is the reverse.

Please just add a check box to use or not the 24 hours by default in the account setting that is not more than that. Sure you will gain more customer with this.

Same here, people keep choosing 9pm instead of 9am. Please fix if you can.

Setting the default option to display 24 hours would be very helpful

    Hi,

I read that the 24 hour format is available (even though not by default - which would be great for sure).

But I can't figure out how to even change manually the format of an event ? Could you show me how please?

    thanks in advance

    +1 !!!

This is needed so badly!! Not only for customers, but also for myself! I'd love a preference setting in my user setting to allow to switch to 24 h format. Always hate this when setting up availabilities...

This is super important - we are constantly receiving AM bookings when people need PM. Please make this a configuration asap!!!!

This is not a feature request. It's a request to use the most common time format in the world. you have been asked about this in 2015 and you said that it's on your roadmap. It's one long roadmap I have to say.

The 12/24 hour is a major issue for us as well.

We have several time slots wasted every week by potential clients in Europe who select 12:00am and assume it is noon.
I lose an hour every time this happens (which is 5-10 times every week)
No one sees the little switch. After they miss the meeting, I then have to ask them to reschedule, the kicker is that I also have to explain what am&pm mean.

This doesn't create a great first impression.

We would love the ability to set 24hr as our default.
    Please make this happen!

Adding to the chorus: pretty please make the default clock a configurable setting. The switch is elegant, but non-obvious, and AM/PM is not at all intuitive for users in countries that use a 24-hour clock (which is most countries).

I have worked out why this is causing so many problems now.

People think the AM/PM-24Hour slider in the top right of the calendar listing is an AM-PM slider. When they slide to the right, they presume (wrongly) that they have switched to PM. The listing now has no AM/PM on it, of course, and so they click the 24Hour time, as if it was a PM time.

This happens a lot in the UK because our office hours just list at 01:00AM to 09:00AM to someone on the US west coast. That then switches to 01:00 and 09:00.

It is actually quite an easy mistake to make.

It would be best if we could just remove the slider, unless another option can be found

I support this - my customers often get confused and schedule the wrong time when they miss the AM/PM.

This really can't be hard to do. The US is pretty much alone in preferring a 12h clock (and let's not even get into date formats!).

    Please: 24h default option.

24 hour option would be great.  In UK the general practice within outlook and windows, which is where a huge majority of people work is in 24 hour.  AM/PM is very easy to miss so for clarity for clients 24 hour is a must.  I can't argue strongly enough for this.

Is there any answer to this yet? Can't believe 24 hour clock isn't standard, seeing as there's 24 hours in a day.

Yes, until users can choose the format they prefer, please at least change the default to 24 h.

We are still having several time zone mixups every week, where potential clients book for 3am rather than 3pm.

Would love you to spend a little time to develop a 24hr default setting.
    Thanks.

Is anyone listening to this thread, Calendly?! Please allow us to force a 24hr clock. We have numerous people booking slots in the wrong 12 hour zone.
