    Hi all -

Thank you for submitting this idea! While I don’t have a target date on when we will offer conference room bookings as locations, I can share your suggestions with the team to discuss further.

Users have many workarounds they have used to meet these goals including collective events and updating the event after the booking.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact support@calendly.com.

    Best,
    Hannah at Calendly

Currently the owner must go back into the meeting after the attendee books and add the room manually.  Ability for the attendee to book an available meeting room would be amazing!

Yes, I agree. We're using Outlook and need the same feature.

I agree too! If we could have the meeting rooms not be their own users, that'd be awesome.

Would be extremely useful to have. My room is configured in Google Calendar as a resource but there doesn't seem to be an easy way to tie this to an event booking type.

The official answer doesn’t work. The key issue is because you have to add the Google room resource via its email address. Then calendly sends a new user registration email to the room email address but it’s not really an inbox so nothing can be done.

I've been watching this thread as it is similar to my needs to have integration to meeting rooms in Outlook/365//Exchange. I imagine the method would work somewhat similarly. We use Zoom for video conferencing and screen sharing. With almost no effort I can manually book a meeting, make it a Zoom Meeting, and add a room (which Zoom Rooms recognizes). Calendly can automatically book the meeting, make it a Zoom Meeting, but the missing piece is the securing the room. So close!

+1 for this functionality. We also use Zoom Room for the meetings along with Zoom scheduling monitor. We would like to use Calendly to allow some people (not on our GSuite) to book our conf rooms with secret event type.

I also add a +1 to this. As well, it would be awesome if availability could be based off a room as well. I want people to book a particular appointment with me but it requires a google resource (room) to be free.

Adding to the fray... this feature would be HUGE for us! Being able to book internal meetings and select an available room would make Calendly so much more useful!

Work Around - I'm currently doing this is with Zappier. I have a team account with one 'dummy' google user that all events get booked with. The zap triggers when a calendly event is made, waits a few minutes, then searches the dummy users calendar for the event and then adds a room based on the type event.

This works for me cause I'm a small company, if you're a larger company and one event type can be booked in multiple rooms, I don't see a solution other than doing it manually :(

It be awesome if two additions to this feature (if implemented) could be added:

    A) If an event can be booked in multiple rooms, the event's availability is open as long as any room is free.

    B) If multiple rooms are free, the event can round robin the room selection.

+1 Really it's a good idea, even in a small compagny with 3 meeting room, could be a nightmare to find one available :)

+1 for having this feature for Office 365! Would love to book resources without having to buy full Calendly licenses for each one.

+1 for Google Calendar - we allow clients to book training sessions through one of our Calendly event types. Only one of our available rooms is suitable for this, so it would be great to tie the event to that room so that we only receive bookings at times that the room is available.
