    Hello all,

Thank you for submitting this idea! While I don’t have a target date on when we will offer disabling email notifications, I can share your suggestions with the team to discuss further.

    Best,
    Hannah at Calendly

It's also annoying to have the reminder emails in my inbox, which duplicate the invitations sent when the meeting is synced with Outlook365

Same as all of the above, notification settings should be a basic function.

    !!

In order to connect with Zoom, we need to use Zapier. But then this creates two messages that the registrant needs to receive. The calendly calendar invite (or email with invite), then the email with the Zoom meeting room info.

I would like to be able to turn Calendly off, let the zap run its course, then send the user a final calendar invite with all of the information, including the Zoom info.

    Please consider this.

YES!!! For so many of us Calendly is in addition to our CRM, which automates emails. My business can't use this until they give the option to turn off email notifs.

    +1 for updated notification preferences.

Use case for us: when reassigning an event to a different user, we would like to be able to NOT have a cancellation email go out to the invitee. It is very confusing to the invitee.

As I have 20 people joining my weekly calls, imagine how full my inbox is getting. Would be great to turn off the notifications, seems like a quick fix to me?

Calendly is a great product, thank you for simplifying and manual and time consuming task!!

and one more of what looks like many requests that we all want email notification ability to turn off for the inviters. Thanks any update from the product side Hannah?

With group invitations, it is annoying to get an email every time someone book an event. There need to be an option to turn this off for host.

Can someone tell me how to turn ON email notifications? I did not receive a notification of a call that is set up for tomorrow. (or is it an auto setting and I maybe missed the email notification?) I appreciate anyone's help! Thank you.

I have three email accounts that receive appointments, and I want Calendly to consider them all when offering my availability to those scheduling new appointments with me through Calendly. My current setup has accomplished this (I created a team, and my event types are all "collective" for this purpose), but the result is that Calendly meetings are being placed on all three calendars and I am getting three appointments for every one meeting. I am also getting multiple notifications for each meeting because of this. Should I have used the "group" option instead? What can I do about this?

    (Calendly)

    Hi Christian,

Kelly here, from Tier 2! Happy to help you with this!

At this time, we do not offer a feature to turn email notifications off in Calendly. However, you can create an inbox rule to automatically move all emails with "New Event" in the title that are sent from notifications@calendly.com to a specific folder. This will help prevent your inbox from filling up with these emails!

I totally understand why this feature would be beneficial for your use-case. If you have a moment, will you please input your notification preferences here on our idea-base so other users with similar needs can comment on and up-vote your idea? Our product team monitors this page daily for inspiration to help smooth out our user experience!

If you'd like to prevent these invitations from adding to certain calendars, you can login to those accounts and visit the Calendar Connection Page. From there, you can switch the toggle button OFF (as shown in the screenshot below) so that events no longer get added to these connected calendars.

Thanks, Kelly. I followed your advice and have managed to get only a single calendar entry for my appointments that involve three team members, so that is great. I also added rules to my inbox to eliminate the notification messages, BUT—rules cannot be applied to calendar invitations, so I am still stuck with those. The same is true when a meeting is canceled—one receives an inbox item as a canceled appointment that allows you to “remove from calendar”—even for those appointments from accounts with the “calendar connection” option turned off! That still makes for too many messages in the inbox for this activity. What would help is a feature that allows multiple calendars to be checked for availability without treating each calendar owner as a unique meeting participant.

    Hi Calendly

Is there any update on this, or are you just not going to do it?  Surely it is not hard to just add a function to not send a notification?

UPDATE: I ended up upgrading my account to check multiple calendars for conflicts (it allows up to six calendars; I am using three). This made it possible for me to discontinue the workaround I had been using, which was to create a (collective) team appointment where each of my email accounts was a team member. That is why I was receiving multiple notifications. Now my event type is a single/individual appointment, and I only receive one notification for my meetings. The price jump to the upgrade is substantial, though, and I am not happy about that, but I am getting the result I wanted.

Please add an option to turn off notification emails and keep the info on the app.  Definitely flooding me with unnecessary emails.  Should be an easy fix and obviously irritating for many who use this app for their business.

    Thanks

    +1 !!!

I use calendly to schedule appointments at my bike shop, and 15+ email notifications per day has swamped my inbox, and I'm missing important follow-up emails from my customers!

You guys haven't addressed this yet?  Only option was to create a filter in Gmail to automatically delete all Calendly notifications.

Seriously, you guys have to do better than this.  You have a productivity optimization software... that generates redundant, productivity-killing email notifications that literally nobody wants.
