    Thank you all for the feedback. We actively iterate on abuse prevention technologies behind the scenes and do everything we can to prevent unwanted automated scheduling with you / your calendar. Client and server side sanitation takes place for all end user data entry fields. And we monitor for suspicious booking patterns and use rate limiting when necessary. We don't have immediate plans to give our users the ability to add captcha to their booking forms, but this could change depending on various external factors. In the meantime, we encourage you to be mindful of where/how you share your links and please report any suspicious activity to support@calendly.com

    Just got spammed with 59 bogus bot meetings, ugh. And I can't even cancel them in a batch, gotta go one by one. Please add CAPTCHA, Calendly team!!

    This is kinda annoying do not have any stops from malicious bots to get your email or calendar bombarded with junk invitations.

    Hello all,

    Thanks for all the great feedback about this very popular request. A CAPTCHA option is at the top of our radar. While I don't have a target date on when we will support this feature, I can say that we are actively looking into a solution. Please be on the lookout for updates.

    Guys, please include this on your roadmap ASAP. I have a few spam bookings from bots per day. It's really annoying and the biggest weakness of calendly.

    This is an increasing issue. Please add a way to filter out spam/bot registrations soon. 

    Is it possible to use a required checkbox to accomplish some of this? "I am not a robot."

    I decide to not using calendly for 2reasons.

     

    1. SPAM which is the main one

    2. not compatible with webday (which I was able to survive with)

    Dear Calendly, just imagine, that I have to pay my consultants for the time that they spend on preparing for meetings, waiting for clients, WHO WILL NEVER ATTEND, BECAUSE THEY'RE SCAM. I'm wasting hundreds of dollars each month because of lack of this feature, consultants are frustrated, because they waste their time (we're in Europe, while clients are global, so we're waiting for them in the middle of the night). It's been almost 2 years since this request was created. I'm close to cancel this and use custom application form on my website like my competitors do. Please just be honest with me and tell if you are planning to do something with blocking spam bookings in the nearest future.

    Dear Calendly,

    The program is great; however, I was just spammed at least 20 times by the same person and had to turn off my appointments so they would stop. It would be great if a captcha feature became your priority to prevent this from happening in the future.

    I'm getting spammed every 2 minutes with bookings in Chinese characters that I can't even read and I don't see any way to stop it. I need this fixed or I'll have to just cancel my account.

    This is now the 3rd time we've been spammed by a bot in the last 2 months.  If this feature isn't added soon, we'll be looking for a new scheduling option.

    I am getting spammed with bots and it is ruining my marketing funnel. If Calendly doesn't provide recaptcha verification I'll be forced to switch to another provider that can integrate this smoothly. Please make this feature now.

    I got to say, it took 3 years for Calendly to give an official response to this simple request?! I wrote my support for this feature back on May 03, 2017.

    And the response is "be mindful of where/how you share your links"?!

    Amanda, really?!

    Do you have a development team actively working on improving the application?  I don't think so. At least this is my impression because if you did, this "ask" would be high on the development timeline.

    Just my 2-cents.

    No plans to implement recaptcha is a seriously misguided design flaw. The amount of time and cost to your company spent in monitoring vs preventing at the source just doesn't make sense.

    Your customers' trust and security should be absolutely paramount. You need to rethink this.
