    Hi all:

    We're actively seeking feedback on some template improvements. Please let me know if you'd like to schedule time to talk with me.

    We are looking at ways to help create scheduling consistency across their organization. We understand that admins would like to be able to:

    • create team templates
    • push out template changes to existing users
    • assign new templates to existing users
    • potentially lock down parts of templates

    For now, you can use our bulk actions toolbar, you can make changes to more than one event type at a time. Including:

    • Edit availability or copy it from one event type to others
    • Activate or disable multiple event types
    • Delete event types in groups

    Looking forward to talking to more of you to find out any additional needs to help your growing teams.

    We are in the same situation.+20 users split between 3x regional teams managed by 3x regional directors.

    Teams have the same set of events for different timezones (demo/training). Users also have the same plus calls (demo/training/quick call/long call).

    Ideally, the event type templates should have the option to tie to different teams/users. When the template is updated, it should reflect on all teams/user assigned.

    I created several templates, but unable to add a templated event to existing users. The only way I can see to do this is to create another event type under each user? That's a lot of work!

    And ditto on updating a template then pushing it to all the users with that template. We plan on using this for about 30 users - and having to update 30 events will be very time-consuming.

    Any timeline on this kind of functionality?

    seems nothing has been done as the issue is still here. Cant access newly created templates for existing users. Such a waste of time having to do this over and over again. template is useless for me :(

    Hello all!

    A team owner or admin can add templates to existing users by navigating to the All Users tab on their Event Types page. Expand the drop-down menu to the right of New Event Type for the preferred user, then select a template. Check out more in this article.

    Bump! We have 10 teams of 2 people. Want to be able to push changes made in template to all meeting types.

    What about EDITING existing templates that are already assigned? If I create a new template and assign it, then I have to have the team edit everywhere they use their calendly link.

    I just accidentally created two months of scheduling for myself, and just realized I did it as a template. I literally just signed up, and I'm the only user right now, and I don't see an all user section like the official comment said. Please don't tell me I need to start the scheduling over from scratch.

    1. I can understand why it's hard to push event changes to everyone in the user groups if they have already made personal changes - like to the calendar, but surely there can be an option to upgrade X fields from ONE PUSH?

    ANY UPDATE ADMIN?

    2. I was just about to set up a Team Page to book for our current 8 Senior Coaches globally (soon to be 20) and had assumed that I can pull the event into the TEAM page - WRONG!!!! need adding all individually! - 
    HOW can this be efficient?

    any workarounds anyone?

    In my opinion this should really be high priority. It would help Calendly scale to bigger clients who need this type of feature. My team only has 3 people on Round-Robin rotation, but we want to differentiate from Inbound Meetings, Outbound Meetings, and Meetings that are booked personally from each person.

    This simple setup would require only 2 templates (english/french) that can be copied from one team to another.

    I'll set it all up manually, but it's tedious and really not scalable as is. I can't imagine using this for a regional team as mentioned above by RVenus Lai.

    Keep posting here. We're adapting to covid-19 and a result no longer schedule our large conference room as a team member. The only solution to remove the large conference room so that we can offer more times to clients is to remove it from every single meeting type. For our organization that is over 50 meetings. It is exceptionally tedious. I posted my first note on this page a year ago. The first post is from 2017. At this point I'm recommending to our team we look into alternative scheduling solutions.

    100% needs this ,updating multiple users, when I have edited the template they used is tedious and unnecessary.

    NEED the option for template changes to apply to existing users.

    Almost FOUR years now and people are still asking for this feature.   Is anyone doing development on this product anymore?

    Same problem as with overlapping events.   Four years and counting on that one too.
