    Hey Greg -

Thanks for submitting this idea. Love the suggestion for a Google Maps integration. We are evaluating a ways to improve the UX around the location for your meetings, so it's helpful to hear your use case. Will share with the team.

I desperately need this option as well. I've previously increased event time to accommodate this need, but it causes problems.

I use outlook which offers a travel time setting. I would definitely subscribe if Calendly could accept travel time from Outlook, or even from a Google/Apple Maps integration. For now, I use the free tier to schedule phone calls.

    Is this option available yet?

Really curious if there is already an update about this topic? With a traveltime setting it is worth to upgrade and pay!

I'd like to throw my support behind this feature - with an addendum that from a user experience point of view, I'd love to offer two pre-fixed addresses to them, as well as an option to enter their own address.

This is a needed feature.  I realize that there are lots of users who don't need this (video conferences, phones, etc.), but I'll recommend this product to my company when the feature is available.  It's a requirement for most face-to-face meetings.  Thanks!

Agree with everyone else - this location based time buffer idea is necessary for efficiency sake! Please add this feature.

I'd also love to have present locations set up so my clients can either pick from the list or put in their own location. This would cut out the step of having to directly talk to the client to set up a location and if it's integrated with Google maps, it could link up to a GPS directly from the calendar. Please add these features!!

In addition to the functionality described in the OP to assist with travel times between appointments, the main benefit of this for me would be to allow us to add a travel time component to the booking price.

For example, once the customer has entered the address for the booking, the system would calculate the distance & time to get there and back from our office address and calculate a travel cost based on the travel time hourly rate we specify and add this travel component to the total cost. THIS would be extremely useful for us.

    Agree!

I do have an office where I spend part of the day, but most of my work is out and about from many different locations. I already require people to enter an address when booking. To have the calendar appt format it as in the "location" field so I can just tap on it in my phone to open up the map app (never-mind other smart apps like Siri tracking my appts and commute), that would save so many annoyed minutes here and there throughout the day that I spend copy/pasting the address info from the calendar to the map app and counting out the time.

This will also save me the trouble of needing to reschedule my day because a potential hour+ commute would force me to push all following appts later.

This is an awesome suggestion. I do a few out of office meetings every week and invariably seem to end up with calendly meetings on the way to the car, on a noisy street with my hands full or some other inappropriate situation.  The google maps suggestion could be the ultimate solution.

As an alternative I was just hopeful for something simple like [if meeting type in outlook = out of office, then add 30 minutes to buffer time].  That would work well for me and solve for most of my use cases.

Conditional logic would be really helpful too. If only there were an “address” option, like there is the “text” phone number option that plugs a google maps address in and calculated commute time automatically. As it stands the only option is to manually adjust each appointment after it comes in, or add a planner buffer before/after each one to try and cover any/all situations.

When allowing the attendee to pick a location, they should be able to pick a google map location and not have to search for the address or type it in (which could be entered incorrectly).

This and automatically determining travel time between locations will also help.

    Thanks!

I own a software company and we recommend calendly ALL the time to clients. THIS FEATURE though is huge for most, if not all service based businesses. If you guys had this, you'd take substantial marketshare because no competitors have this integration with being able to schedule an appointment taking into account the client's (scheduler) location, your prior appointment location, and your calendly set buffer time.

Here's a use case that applies to landscaping, HVAC, Plumbing, Electricians, mowing businesses, home inspectors, photographers, and tons more...

I am a business owner. I cover Champaign County (IL). Within Champaign County people can schedule an appointment with me based on my settings. I have customers who could be scheduling appointments in Mahomet, Savoy, Monticello, Rantoul, St. Joseph, etc. (15-30 minute commute times to all locations). Two people schedule in Champaign, one in St. Joe, and two in Monticello for service calls. If the available times could adjust based on my prior event location, or a set office location it would be killer.

What I just described happens to all those businesses above and more. Their office staff is having to manage appointments and inquiries when people schedule. This feature removes pain and saves people money on labor cost. - Calendly... we need this feature :)

I would also LOVE this or another way to track locations for mileage expense reports.
