    Thanks for sharing your ideas and interest in seeing this feature within Calendly. It's our goal to provide a scheduling solution that eliminates email ping-pong and we've found that confirming a meeting, in fact, contributes to it. Approving or denying Calendly meetings is not a feature we plan to provide our users at this time.

    Approval option is important. Because some times my students try to block appointment for others. So approval is very important to book appointment.

    Definitely needed, especially when people continuously schedule, then cancel at the last minute, then immediately book again for an appointment they don't show up for.

    This is mission critical for me as I have multiple subscription calendars....it's the only reason I have not moved from my current calendar to calendly

    It would be great when they receive the "notification" a day before to confirm, that they can click a "confirm meeting" button so we know they received the confirmation and are in fact coming to the meeting!

    I understand the concern about "email ping pong", but an inability to confirm/deny meeting requests creates more issues for us. We were 'all-in' until we learned this wasn't possible on Calendly. Please let us know if/when you make the change!

    This is a critical update for me.  It changes the balance of power.  I should be able to confirm an appointment vs. having to reschedule an appointment.  Those are totally different.  One is proactive and the other is reactive.  I don't like to be reactive.

    I put my Calendly link in my email signature.  I get sales people who want to pitch me whatever they are peddling.  I would never have taken an appointment with them and yet they are getting on my calendar and then it's on me to not be an A-hole and send them a cancellation, etc.

    I moved to this system from another scheduling program because on the outside looking in it's far and away better sleeker more intuitive design and functionality...until I realized anybody can schedule a meeting with me and I have to make sure to cancel/reschedule.  That's weird and unnatural.

    Any idea when this update will be available?

    A MUST!!! I would certainly value this addition to Calendly!

    This is truly the only missing part to Calendly. I love Calendly but truly don't like the fact that I cannot reply/confirm when an appointment is booked. I have to go into my email and send an email confirming the appointment. Takes up valuable time and an extra step that is annoying!!!

    This is critical functionality for us as well, lack of it is causing some problems. Please advise if and when it may be integrated. If not fairly immediate, much as we love other aspects of the service, we'll likely have to to move to a different platform and also stop recommending Calendly to all of our clients as well.

    I need this feature! I don't see how that would be an email ping-pong. Just don't set accepted on the calendar event automatically. Let me do this, this way I can easily recognize new events on my schedule.

    The real frustration comes when I have to delete clients event and they are getting deleted event notification.

    Calendly should understand by these comments that confirmation of times is definitely a need. Automatically accepting a client/customer meeting request just because my calendar happens to have an open slot is a big barrier to adopting this platform.
